According to the experts, nearly two-thirds of divorces are filed by women, and TV wife Anna Duggar is no exception. According to International Business Times, rumors are circulating that Anna is planning on divorcing her husband, Josh Duggar, known for the TV program “19 Kids and Counting.”
Josh was involved in a recent scandal, where he admitted to molesting several young girls, including some of his own sisters, and it turned out that he even had an account on notorious affairs site AshleyMadison.com.
An inside source told Life and Style that learning about what Josh had been doing made her “feel disgusting,” and that family and friends encouraged her to divorce Josh as soon as possible. The couple have four children together, with ages ranging from 2 months to 5 years old. The source also disclosed that “the kids have begun to question where Daddy is.”
According to a story from Inquisitr, after the allegations broke, Josh issued the following statement:
“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation.”
After the story of Josh’s molestation charges, along with a contribution to the Ashley Madison database and an admission into rehab for a sex addiction, TLC suspended “19 Kids and Counting” and later ended up cancelling it entirely. TV’s Dr. Phil McGraw suspects that there’s even more to the story than the already mountainous pile of plot twists we’ve already seen.
“I just don’t believe that the whole truth has come out yet,” he said. “To assume that everything you see is everything there is would really be naive.”
Some of the Duggar family is reported to be receiving a spin-off program on TLC. No word yet on whether or not Anna Duggar or her children will be involved in any way.
