The Cost of Cremation

There comes a time when families have to plan ahead for funeral arrangements for their loved ones. While it may be unpleasant to think about, it is necessary.  A popular choice is a cremation. In this video, you will learn more about cremation costs.

Typically there are three options for cremation.

The first is a complete cremation service. This option usually has an open casket where loved ones can pay their respects and is followed by a church service. Afterward, the body is then brought to the cremation site where the ashes are dealt with by the family. This service costs around $7,800.

The second option is cremation with a reception or visitation period. The main difference here is that the ashes are on display for the memorial, rather than a casket. This can cost about $5,700.

The final option is cremation with no services. This is a small event compared to the other options. It is rather private. The cost is approximately $3,500.
